Company „Rivona“directed by owners - UAB „Norfos mažmena“ is involved in logistics, international cargo transportation, real estate renting and other activity. It was established in 1993. „Rivona’s“ authorized capital is equal to Litas 18 million. 974 employees work for the company. „Rivona“ is the main supplier of „Norfa” trading network.

Dairy products production plant of Alytus “Alytaus pieninė”
“Rivona’s” production subdivision is a dairy plant in Alytus. Its re-started its activity immediately after reconstruction in August 2004 after having obtained the EU Veterinary Certificate. Nowadays, they produce yoghurt, sour-cream, milk, kefir, curd, curd cheese, butter, fat mixtures and dry milk products, total number of dairy products produced is 50. Over 190 employees work for the dairy plant. This year, an investment is amount of about 2,5 million Litas it was made to modernize the existing plant equipment and to purchase the new modern one.
Most products produced at the plant are supplied to “Norfa” trading network.
From April of previous year dairy plant in Alytus has started to produce dry milk products. By the end of the current year the company plans to produce about 2,7 thousand tons of dry milk products, major part of which shall be exported. The Alytus dairy plant became the eighth Lithuanian company involved in dry milk products manufacture.
Canned products production plant of Rokiškis “Rokiškio konservai”
UAB “Rivona” purchased production subdivision „Rokiškio konservai“ in October 2001.
The plant purchased was completely renovated, new production lines and equipment were installed, vegetable freezing premises were equipped. Last year an investment in amount of about Litas 3,5 million was made in „Rokiškio konservai“, this year it is planned to invest over Litas 2,2 million.
At present, the two following shops are functioning at „Rokiškio konservai“ – confectionary, canned food and culinary. More than one hundred employees are working there. By the end of the 2006 year a new raw meat shop was established at „Rokiškio konservai“.
Culinary shop produces vegetable and meat semi-products: salads, vinaigrettes, snacks, meat products, flour good -: 75 kinds of goods in total.
It was planned that by February 2006 production capacity of the new culinary and raw meat shop would reach 15 tons of products a day.
The plant also produces 5 types of milk caramel sweets „Karvutė“ (it is planed to start production of two more kinds of „Karvutė“ sweets in the nearest future), artificial honey, fruit and vegetable syrups, juices, compotes, tomato puree and sauces, pickled vegetables and champignons, mustard, fruit jams, marmalades, vegetable soups and vegetable purees, snacks and condensed milk: 80 product types in total. The products mentioned are manufactured without preserves, water absorbing agents, colours, modificators and other additions.
In 2004 the Company produced products in amount of 1,0675 thousands tons, 123 tons of which amount were sweets and 944,5 tons were canned goods. Last year in January-November the Company produced 1 685,6 tons of products (117,1 of this amount were sweets and 1 568,5 tons – canned goods). In 2009 - 3900 tons.
“Rokiškio konservai" delivers its products not to Lithuanian market only, but to markets of Latvia as well. About 90 percent of its products are sold to shops belonging to „Norfa“ trading network. In 2006 „Rokiškio konservai“ started export its goods to other countries of the European Union: Great Britain and Ireland.
Company’s „Rokiškio konservai“ goods amount to 30 percent of total amount of milk caramel sweets and 15 percent of total amount of canned goods on sale in “Norfa” trading centers. In 2004 sales of sweets and canned goods increased twice compared to 2003.
Trademarks:
The Company’s trademarks ensure an optimal quality and price of goods bearing this trade mark. Products bearing these trademarks are the most popular with buyers.
Within the first half a year of 2005 sales of products labeled with „Sodžius“ trademark increased by 33,06 percent: from Litas 10,135 million up to Litas 13,487 million. The most popular „Sodžius“ products are those produced by a bake house “Aveva” in Utena that included: mold-baked white and brown bread, loaves, coffee-cakes, pica-cakes, cookies and other confectionery goods - 32 kinds of bakery products in total. Within a half a year 695,1 tons bakery products were sold at Litas 601,8 thousand.
Household and electric appliances bearing a trademark “Riwa” were specially produced and started to be labeled with this trademark since spring of the year 2004 and their import from Asia started from the beginning of 2003. Over 20 companies are supplied with these household and electric devices. Nowadays there are on sale „Riwa’s“ TVs, tape-recorders, CD, DVD and VCD players, mini audio centers, electric kettles, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners, irons, electric ovens, fans, mixers, blenders with a cover, juicers, mixers for cocktails producing, frying pans, deep-frying machines, table lamps, galvanic batteries, bulbs, accumulator and impact drills, oil radiators, clippers, curling tong-wavers. Compared with the appropriate period of time “Riwa’s” sales increased: from Litas 4,41 million up to Litas 6,216 million.
The following product groups bear the most popular in Lithuanian “Kolumbo” private trade mark: ferment cheese, fish and sea food, rice, buckwheat, farina, flour and pasta, peaches, pine-apples, mayonnaise, vinegar, oil, margarine, jelly, chocolate cookies, sunflower seeds, meat product –over 40 kinds of products in total. Within a half a year sales of „Kolumbo“ products increased by one-third from Litas 4,776 million up to Litas 6,371 million.
UAB „Rivona“ delivers to Lithuanian market as Lithuanian as foreign products. The Company imports food and industrial goods from almost all the countries of the European Union, Russia, China, Thailand and Sri Lanka.
